The Olive Harvest 2017

This is fast becoming our favourite time of the year! Early November saw the arrival of our awesome group of workaway volunteers from Germany, Poland, South Korea, Scotland and the U.S to help with this year’s olive harvest. The trees were looking so full, we cracked on for 3 days and managed to collect 1000 kilos from only half the valley. The best year yet!

1000 kilos of olives produced 202 litres of the most wonderful liquid gold. Huge thanks to our fantastic olive pickers Lisa, Chris, Cameron, Oliver, Jan and Zita.
