“Wegow began with a personal experience. In our case it was the repetition of the same situation. We were attending as many concerts as we could but we ended up losing out and not having the company of our closest friends. Worst of all is that the next day we learned through social networks that many people we knew had attended, whom with we could have gone and enjoyed the concert.

It was at this moment that we created a tool that reflect musical tastes and favorite artists to show upcoming next concerts, and also tells you about your friends and acquaintances that are attending.

Once we designed the main idea we equiped the platform with different features such as viewing videos, photos and news. We also have a forum where you can share ideas and opinions on any subject related to music. We tested it with the first version of Wegow 1.0 and the results were so surprising that we decided to embark on creating a new version.

This year’s festival tickets are brought to you by ‘Ecovamos’, the first online event ticket portal focussing on Ecology and Welfare.

T&Cs as a ticket holder…

Children under 13 are free when accompanied by a adult ticket holder. Ticket holders under 16 will not be permitted entry to the festival site without an accompanying adult ticket holder. The festival and festival site is very family friendly although please be aware that water is precious and therefore might not be sufficient for very little people.

Due to health and safety and general disturbance in the campsite we do not permit pets on site.

Tickets for Riba Rocks are non-refundable. Your ticket will be exchanged for a Riba Rocks wristband upon entry, please wear this for the duration of your stay.

The Valley is a rural finca and therefore those with mobility issues may find the terrain unsuitable. We have a car parking area on the land and advise strong footwear for our uneven, rocky terrain. Please have your own travel insurance as Riba Rocks holds no responsibility for your personal belongings or any injury in The Valley.

‘La Vall’ is a rural finca (farm) comprising 15 hectares of olive, almond and fig trees set in a private valley. It is completely ‘off-grid’ – there is no mains electricity and no mains water supply. We use solar power throughout the year and rainwater is collected for washing. With over 200 olive trees which are pruned each winter, we have an abundance of fuel for heating. The ash bi-product is then stored for use on our wonderful waterless compost toilets.  Coming to the Riba Rocks festival therefore offers you the chance to ‘unplug’ from your ‘normal?’ existence and immerse yourself in the incredible musical and artistic talent showcased here each year.

We are always seeking ways to improve the sustainability of the festival within the finca environment and trust the two can run parallel and in harmony. Riba Rocks focuses on looking after the land by using waterless facilities, as water is not in abundant supply at this time of year as well as separating, reusing and recycling as much of the waste produced by the festival as possible.
